West Fork was founded in the 1880s on the banks of the West Fork of the White River.Founded by the timber industry, milling, and railroad commerce, our historic homes, parks, library, Farmers Market and community events preserve a small town feel in an area of rapid growth with a diverse and an expanding economy.Our beautiful Ozark Mountain scenery, mild four seasons, one of the best school districts in Arkansas, and opportunities for employment, recreation and higher education, make West Fork "Where the Best Begins".

The City of West Fork is has made the following changes to its facilities: ?The City Administration lobby is open; however we would like to encourage use of the drive-thru when possible.You may also pay your water bill by telephone (479-839-2342), or online at https://westforkwaterandwastewater.ruralwaterusa.com/?The City Council will have its regular June meeting on Tuesday June 9th at 6:30pm at the West Fork Community Center.Hand sanitizer will be available at entrances and social distancing of 6 feet will be required. ?The Community Center remains closed and rentals have been cancelled.?The WF District Court lobby is open however we encourage you to call to make payments over the phone or if you have additional questions (479-839-3249 ext.1). If you have a court date, please call ahead for instructions.?The West Fork Police Department Lobby is open.?The West Fork Municipal Library is providing book and material check-in and curb-side check-out. Please check their Facebook page for any online programming or updates.?The West Fork Parks are open for outdoor activity; social distancing must be practiced.Pavilions are available for use.Playground equipment is closed, and no swimming is allowed.We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our citizens during this time.
